Paraguay and Uruguay agree to cooperate on logistics matters
On November 14, the Paraguayan Logistics Association (APYLOG) and the National Logistics Institute of Uruguay (INALOG) signed a memorandum of understanding to develop joint activities that integrate and optimize their respective logistics systems. These activities include the generation and exchange of statistical information, transport time measurement, and issues related to processes, costs, and freight volume.
Both institutions expressed their interest in working together to offer competitive transport and logistics services that favor the increase in international trade and attract additional business. The objective is to capitalize on the economic growth of the region and take full advantage of the Paraguay-Paraná waterway.
The memorandum was signed by Roberto Salinas, the president of APYLOG, and Federico Stanham, managing director of INALOG.
