The Peruvian Ministry of Transports and Communications has commissioned the creation of an Intermodal Transports Plan, a plan for the development of transport infrastructure to guide actions and investment.

The Intermodal Transport Plan includes (i) a diagnostic document of the current transport system and its foreseeable evolution, which includes the issues facing the current infrastructure and characterizes transport services; (ii) a medium-term plan for a detailed investment program for the next 10 years, which will be complemented by a political management proposal designed to optimize the system’s operation; and (iii) a long-term plan for the strategic development of an integrated transport system, over the period from 2004-23.

The final report consists of five parts and is available online.
