Juan Pablo Antún
A long-time academic and researcher, he directs the Transport, Logistics, Traffic, and Territorial Systems Lab of the UNAM Engineering Institute, which won the National Logistics Prize in 2005 and 2009 as the best center of applied research in Mexico. A specialist in supply chain problems, logistical strategy, and urban distribution of goods, Antún has worked with multilateral and public bodies, corporate associations, and leading companies. He received his doctorate with honors in urban and regional planning from the Université des Sciences Sociales Grenoble II.

Originally a geographer, he undertook postgraduate studies in economics and transport planning at the University of Toronto and MIT. He also served as a public official and in transport companies. Currently Barbero is an independent consultant and dean of the Railroad Technology Institute of the National San Martin University, Argentina.
Jorge Kohon is a civil engineer specializing in transportation, with over 30 years of experience in the economics, planning, management, operations, and politics of railway transport. He has served as a public official and has worked as a consultant for the railway systems of 13 countries in Latin America and Asia. Currently he is working as an independent consultant, and is a member of the Transport Institute of the Argentine National Academy of Engineering.
With a Ph.D. in Transport Geography from the Université de Montréal, he has been a professor at Hofstra University (New York) since 1999. Rodrigue's research interests cover the fields of transportation and economics as they relate to logistics and global freight distribution. He is a member of the PortEconomics.eu initiative and of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Advanced Manufacturing (2011-13). He was commissioned by UN-Habitat to write a chapter about urban freight distribution for the 2013 Global Report on Human Settlements.
